The Power of Now, LOA, The Tao and more…

The REAL Struggle Between Good And Evil Facing Humankind Today

If you read books, watch movies or television you know that many people think that we are in the middle of a universal struggle between Good and Evil.

You see it in the news, in politics, in discussions about religion, in the wars being waged across the globe, and on the streets of our cities, in the business world…

Just about everywhere. It is so pervasive that it makes people more than a little obsessive about their belief systems. It causes people to get so entrenched in dogma and their own rigid and frequently narrow viewpoints, that the actuality of life in this universe gets missed in the hysteria.

Having said that, you may be surprised that I do believe that this struggle is being waged, and is at a crucial point as we speak…

The only way to understand the nature of this struggle however, is to understand what actually is Good and what actually is Evil. And the shocking thing is that to understand the nature of this struggle and really take part in the most important issue facing mankind today is to put most of your own personal belief structure aside!

Huh?!

The fact of the matter is that the real nature of this battle is tied directly tho the greatest Good in the Universe: Awareness or Consciousness, Presence in the Moment, and Connection to the Universe and it’s Creator.

Which means that the greatest Evil is being Unaware or Unconscious, Living Oblivious to the Present, and being Isolated from the Universe.

As you can see, this means that most of what people are centered on, and spend their lives and energies fighting about and either for or against, is immaterial to the real battle being waged. And this is the misdirection that goes on each and every day, not only robbing people of the happiness they could be experiencing in their lives individually, but also halts the progress of humankind as they seek to progress as a race.

No, I am not oblivious to the issues facing the world, creation as a whole, and humankind today. I just see these issues as all related to this far greater issue, and subservient to it…

The only hope we really have of overcoming war, hunger, poverty, disease and the host of other ills running rampant across the globe has no political, activist or military solution. So how can these be addressed? For that matter can they be addressed?

The only way they can or will be addressed is when the rising tide of Conscious, Aware and Connected individuals sweep away the inert masses of the inert population that have bought into the old and established ideas about what is necessarily Good or Evil by nature.

Let’s be clear! I am not advocating or predicting a military action or violence against those choosing not to align themselves with my own view of what constitutes Good and Evil. When I say that the inert masses will be swept away, what I mean is that their inertia, their lack of Awareness, Consciousness and Connection will be swept away and mankind will flourish as a result.

The battle will be won by Good without a doubt. It is only a matter of time. Why?

Because the most powerful force in the Universe can only be accessed through connection with the Universe and it’s Creator. Becoming Aware. Becoming Conscious. Becoming Connected with the very source of dynamic energy is the quickest avenue to a better life for each of us as individuals, and for humankind as a whole.

Thanks for listening…

Jim

  1. Reggie Greene / The Logistician Said,

BEAUTIFUL, Absolutely beautiful. “Put most of your personal belief structure aside…” Yes!

Earlier today, we posted this comment regarding the Supreme Court nominee:

“I generally try to analyze things from a systemic or structural perspective, and not with a goal in mind as to what I personally want or value. If systems are to remain strong, and maintain integrity, it does not matter whether they work for you or your interests at a static point in time. It’s intellectually dishonest to accept something when it works for you, and then challenge it when it doesn’t. That degrades the system.

“Why do we really care about the philosophy of a potential justice? (1) Whoever it is is only 1 of 9. (2) The other 8 were appointed by various other Presidents with differing philosophies. (3) Very few appellate cases actually reach the highest court in the land. It is very difficult to have the court grant certiorari, or perceive a conflict between the Circuit Courts. (4) Presidents on both sides of the aisle have the opportunity to submit their nominees, and thus arguably, the pendulum swings both ways over time from a long term perspective.

“The notion that legal doctrine can be maintained at any static position, or pursued in a dynamic fashion, is a manipulation of the system, and depending on one’s appreciation of the system, that could be a good thing or a bad thing. But that’s exactly my point. It should not be a good or bad thing, but a neutral thing.

“The mood of a country changes over time. In theory, we do not want our High Court to be subject to societal whims and swings. Seems to me that the citizenry (even with the Electoral College complication) picks the President of the political philosophy acceptable to them, which arguably is reflected in his nominees. Each one has that opportunity.

“As long as the nominee has not engaged in any criminal or inappropriate activity for a jurist, we ought to look at the big picture over hundreds of years, and not just the short term.

“Partisanship ought be eliminated from the whole decision process, no matter which side of the aisle on which one sits. Unless there is reason to think that they should not sit as a judge at all, then the nomination of ANY President ought be confirmed.”

Putting one’s personal belief structure aside is a key element in our approach to issues. Good to find someone else in agreement. We’ve had a link to your site for some time now, and noted a period of inactivity. Glad to see that you are active again.

  2. Admin Said,

In the end, all we really have any say in is our own feelings and reactions.

    Awareness is all!

Most of what we as individuals get so caught up in is simply misdirection that takes us away from the most important things we can be doing for ourselves, as well as for the entirety of us as a people (and I’m not talking nationally, but globally).

These are Awareness, Presence in the Moment (The Now!) and Connection to the Universe and therefore it’s Creator…

    Thanks for your thoughts!

  3. Jeannette Said,

You’ve got me thinking, Jim … Kim Falconer said something the other day about the power of “consensus reality” that I think plays into what you’re talking about here.

Much food for thought about old ideas of “good” and “evil” and what’s in store for us next. I’m off to digest …

  4. Admin Said,

Yes, and I think that there are those in the Universe that are invested in Lack of Awareness, Disconnection and keeping us from being in harmony with and in synch with the Dynamic Energy that is only possible with a life lived in the greatest Good:

Living a life in the present moment of awareness and connection…

The consensus reality not being actual reality at all, but becoming reality for any and all that fall prey to this misdirection.

[...] wrote on this at length in my article The Real Struggle Between Good And Evil Facing Mankind Today so am fresh from thinking about these issues. IMHO the only real Good is based in Awareness, [...]

Nothing exist outside of God/Buddha ,The universe or what ever Creator energy form you have perceived to be to true for you, is all that there is, that there was or ever will be. Our minds are thought machines, we as humans have developed the concepts which we live by.
